Excitement!
I am so super excited for Fathers Day! I can't stand it. I am surprising Rafe with come fun photos of me and the girls. I LOVE my photos taken by the amazing Morgan & Alison! I got some good ones of just me (which is hard to do) and some of me and my girls then each of the girls. I am working on my projects today and I can't wait to give them to him. I hope he appreciates it and loves them as much as I do. I thought it would be something different to give him and we can cherish the photos forever! I hope I make it to Sunday without spoiling the surprise! Pictures to come soon!

Charity Run
Adison's Preschool does a Charity Run every year (this is the 2nd or 3rd) and each student gets to donate 20 one dollar bills to the charity that is chosen. This year the charity was Josh and Kristen Baumgarten. Both parents are suffering from different illnesses. Josh has a brain tumor and Kristen has recently been diagnosed with MS. They have four children and loads of medical bills so it was great to be able to help them out while teaching my children about charity and the abilty we have to give back to those in need.
It was really special to me. We were even able to meet the family. It brought tears to my eyes!

Kennas New Room
We were at Lowes one day and Rafe suggested we get the paint to start on Kenna's new room. I had't really even thought about what I wanted to do yet so we just started grabbing idea books and colors and went from there. At first we thought we would do a light blue (almost white) and then a baby blue stripes from top to bottom on two walls then just one of the blues on the other two walls. I then say a way cute room that was DARK blue, LIME green, and one other color (that I can't remember now what it was). I really loved the way it looked! I decided to go with the DARK purple and LIME green look. I thought it would be fun for Kenna to have a bright girly room. She was so excited for her own room.
We got the colors home and I was just hoping they would look okay together. We started by grabbing an old poster board that I happened to have and painted the colors on it next to each other since we were doing stripes.
We then painted the walls all FLUORESCENT green! It was so so bright!! All we could see for the next three days was a green glow in the hall. I thought 'What in the world have we done? This is aweful!' But it has slowly grown on me and Kenna is in love with her room. She still takes people in there and says " I painted this stripe, mom painted this one..." on and on about who painted what. We got it all painted and let it dry then did the purple stripes and let it dry again. Kenna couldn't stand it anymore and she had to sleep in there. Adison was nervous since she is used to Kenna being next to her at night so Adi cried and cried the first couple nights. We ended up putting a mattress on the floor next to Kenna's bed and Adi slept in the new room for a couple nights then, back to her room. Since then they have adjusted to having their own rooms and I love it! It's so nice. We are planning on putting up some molding along the top of the stripes to finish it off but, we haven't gotten that done yet. The material picture is what I am going to make Kenna's bedding and hopefully some curtains too!
-If anyone can tell me how to re-arrange my pictures after I get them on my post that would be awesome!!! I cant get them in the right order, Thanks!-
